OK, from what I've heard, this is true... not at my university, though. But at one quite near...

OK, one of the Halls is a huge mother, about 20 floors high with about 200 people in it -- about 30-50 meters tall.
One night a group of students decide to play a (slightly psychologically cruel) practical joke on their flat mate. They live on the 19th or so floor.

They divide into two groups. One takes the victim down to the bar, and buy him LARGE quantities of alcohol. Meanwhile, the others are moving all the stuff out of the victim's room into a room of a friend in the ground floor.

The victim is brought back, very well pissed by this time, and he is taken up and down and up in this lift, eventually ariving at the ground floor.

They take him into what now looks like his room, promptly go mad, and throw him out of the window -- (expecting to fall 100+feet) thud, hits grass 2 feet below the ground floor window.

Cruel? Well, he recovered in a couple of weeks. (-:
