A couple was sitting in the movie theater with their pet bull dog (yes, I know they don't let dogs in. Hang on, it's a joke, ok?). When the action scenes were on, the dog would perk up its ears and get all excited. When the scene turned sad, the dog's eyes would glaze over with moisture. When the scene turned tender, the dog would make a little whine and snuggle its head up against the man's leg.

Next to the couple, a woman took notice. "That is amazing," she said, "to see a dog react to a movie like that."

"It's baffling," the man said, shaking his head.

"It sure is," said his wife. "He positively hated the book."
